Alternative Recycling was established in 2009 but Mark Schwab & Randy Oyen. They had a vision to help individuals, farmers, and businesses recycling their metal scrap efficiently while offering honest pricing and superior customer service. In 2018 Jeni Oyen-Reed joined Alternative Recycling as the office manager. It wasn't long into her employment when Jeni realized she not only felt at home with the company, but she thoroughly enjoyed working with customers from all over the Tri-State area. In 2020 Jeni joined Mark & Randy in the company ownership. Almost 14 years later and Alternative Recycling still fulfills their promise to offer honest pricing and superior customer service. We may not be the biggest scrap yard around but we believe we're the best because our customers aren't just customers, their friends!
